I managed to play a game of 11-a-side almost exactly 6 months after the Achilles complete rupture last night.
The mind is still very fast but the body is not following the mind :) I suppose the extra 10-12 pounds of weight around the belly does not help.

Property market in Maidenhead
Even the talk of a double dip, slow recovery, low British Pound does not seem to be affecting the property in Maidenhead. The estate agents Maidenhead are reporting a very healthy recovery.
Maidenhead property market seems to be solid, and the lettings market is continuing to be strong as well.

Google may come through again!!!
According to the rumours, Google may launch its free estate agency listing service in the UK following on from Australia as well.
This can only be a good news for all the estate and letting agents out there.
All the estate agency portals must be quaking in their boots, Rightmove being the main one.
It is a shame that this would put Google in direct competition with Globrix, which has actually come through for the agents in many way.
C'mon Google!!!

Maidenhead Christmas lights
At the weekend, Rolf Harris turned on the Chritstmas lights in Maidenhead. The event took place in front of the Maidenhead Town Hall.
This year it was a much better event compared to the previous years. There was as usual a market selling food etc but more importantly there were few fairground activites in the Maidenhead High Street as well as York Road.
Just after the lights got turned on, there was a brilliant fireworks display from the top of the Town Hall as well.
All in all, this was a great event for the kids and parents alike.
Let's hope the Maidenhead Council keeps up the good work in the upcoming years.
