World's strongest man

Just finished watching the Met Rx World Strongest Man 2005 competition on telly. This year it was held in Chengdu, China. From the outset, there was only gonna be one winner, Mariusz Pudzianowski. Some of the competitors in the heats were not that good compared to others but 2 of the heats were amazing.

Throughout the heats and the final, 2 world records were smashed: Fingal Fingers, Hercules Hold and the Atlas stones.

I first got hooked on watching this event a few years ago when we were on holiday in Malta. That year the finals were in Malta and one of the competitions happened to be on the same beach as we were. The competitors are huge in physique. Their arms were almost as big as my legs :)

Anyway, Mariusz is only 28 and already has 3 world's strongest man titles under his belt. I reckon he has a few more years to dominate this competition.
