I found the switch over to the new blogger system a little painful personally. The new template system seems to mess up some of the meta tags unfortunately. My site has been significantly affected by this by the time I have discovered the issue.
I don't seem to be the only one experiencing this problem though. A lot of other people have already posted about the issue. I have even raised this with the support team but no responses yet, it's a little disappointing.
