This week, the Greek Prime Minister has had an official visit to Turkey, which I think is a giant step in improving the relationships between the two neighbours. I blieve this was the fist in after 5 decades.
According to the reports, the Greek Prime Minister has travelled even though he is politically under pressure in Greece.
Of course this is not going to magically solve all the problems, Cyprus being the main one I expect as well as the Agean sea borders. However, let's hope that this is a start of a new era and the problems are resolved in the area.
I wholeheartedly support his courage.
